Los Hermanos Familia believes that individuals, children, and families need guidance to build confidence and understanding of their personal finances. In partnership with local companies, we will hold a workshop series that will improve financial security in English and Spanish. 2024 Workshops - April 2,9,16, 23, and 30, from 5:30 to 8:00 PM.

Los Hermanos Familia is committed to the financial stability of individuals, and families, especially as the economy is unstable.

As such, Los Hermanos Familia with the KEY organization will guide you to build financial confidence and understanding of personal finances, now and for the future. In partnership with Lubbock National Bank & Latino Lubbock Magazine, we will hold a workshop series that will improve financial security for participants in English and Spanish - on April 2,9,16, 23, and 30, 2024.

Some of the workshops will include Financial Goal Setting which will provide a brief guide to your financial future.

Savings will provide the basics of how to save money and navigate to the various types of savings plans.

In addition, how to invest your money for retirement. 

The first workshop series will be held on Tuesday, April 2nd. Workshops will start at 5:30 p.m. at Our Lady of Grace Church, in the Buxxkemper Hall at 3101 Erskine St., in Lubbock - weekly on Tuesday in April. Check-in, grab your supplies, dinner & dessert will be available, and introductions start at 5:45. Program(s) will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Please bring your pen and pad.

Presentations will be made ~ by Los Hermanos Familia Financial Literacy Committee, KEY representatives, as well as Primerica representatives.

Please note that additional presentations will include our Lead Sponsor Lubbock National Bank; as well as a program on Insurance, and Wills & Trusts by additional presenters including Christy Martinez-Garcia, LHF Founder; Brian Albiar, Investment Banker; and Primerica with Andrew & Celeste Aguilar. Dinner is provided - MUST RSVP. No childcare is available.
