I understand that by submitting this form, I am signing up to serve as a volunteer for the Fourth on Broadway Parade, and that this is not an application for, nor a contract of, paid employment. I agree that I will not accept any form of payment for my volunteer services.
I understand that I may be required to complete a background check as part of my participation.
By registering and/or volunteering at the Fourth on Broadway Parade, I grant permission to the event organizers—Los Hermanos Familia and the Purple Hearts of Lubbock—to use photos and videos taken during the event for news coverage, promotional purposes, and future marketing materials.
I agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Los Hermanos Familia, the Purple Hearts of Lubbock, any event sponsors, and any of their officers, directors, employees, volunteers, representatives, or agents from any and all claims, losses, damages, or expenses—including court costs, attorney’s fees, or expert witness fees—that may arise from my participation or the participation of any individuals I register.
I acknowledge that I have the authority to agree to these terms and that Los Hermanos Familia and the Purple Hearts of Lubbock are relying on this confirmation. I understand that the Fourth on Broadway Parade is committed to creating a safe and welcoming environment for all. If I or anyone associated with me displays inappropriate or unsafe behavior, I acknowledge that the event organizers reserve the right to remove that individual from the event.
